Designed with the user in mind, the sofas and armchairs offer utter relaxation for living spaces and lounge areas alike. The deep seats, adorned with soft, fluffy cushions, invite people to sink into a cocoon-like structure, creating a retreat for leisure.

From design to implementation, .mdd has mastered the combination of traditional carpentry and modern crafts in the department of bespoke furniture. In 2024, the manufacturing company partners with Spanish designer duo, Yonoh Studio, and merges the forces of the upholstery team with the advanced machinery to reach even higher levels of comfort. As a result, the Lotus collection of sofas and armchairs is out to furnish and offer relaxation in offices, hotels, or restaurants. 

‘Lotus is a clear example of how functionality can coexist harmoniously with aesthetics. The family represents a perfect blend between engineering and comfort, proving that excellence doesn’t have to shy away from practicality,’ exclaims Yonoh Studio.

Carefully selected materials and precisely crafted components ensure Lotus’ premium experience. The springs provide softness and flexibility to the seats, preventing deformation even after prolonged use. The backrest, a blend of silicone and cut polyurethane foam, is not only soft and fluffy but also possesses the necessary volume and springiness for optimal support. Meanwhile, the armrests, available in narrow or wide configurations, are thoughtfully angled to complement the natural curvature of the body, enhancing overall comfort.
