When effortlessly unfolded, the baby changing station reveals a host of details that all work together for a secure change like a hook to hang belongings and quick fixing closure. The table’s gentle concave and adjustable nylon safety belt create a barrier of protection for the little ones. All of this is enclosed in a minimalist, neatly beveled polypropylene shell that promotes elegant and modern design into any public restroom.

Since its launch, BabyMedi® has undergone significant development to offer more orientation, sanitation, and style choices. Designers and developers now have the flexibility to choose between a stainless steel or polypropylene finish, in white, satin or black. They can also select a vertical or horizontal unfolding mechanism, depending on the available space. To add further versatility for architects, there’s an installation kit available for flush-to-wall, recessed installation, promoting a more open and clutter-free restroom. A standout feature in its customization repertoire is the station’s Ion Hygienic© technology, which utilizes an ionizer to sanitize the surface by means of negative ions, effectively eliminating particles, microbes, and undesirable odors. Additionally, the surfaces that come into contact with infants are equipped with Biocote® technology, providing antimicrobial protection to inhibit the growth of harmful microorganisms, fungi, and mold. This double protection makes the product a world’s first in the market, achieved without compromising its contemporary aesthetic.

BabyMedi® units not only meet European Union standards, which require baby changing stations to withstand a 50 kg static load test for an hour, but they have been (the units) further tested in Mediclinics’ internal laboratories and proven to bear loads exceeding 100 kg. Furthermore, this changing table is poised for international applications, bearing certifications for European safety standards EN 12221-1 and EN 122212-2, as well as the American standard ASTM F2285-04.
